Saved Searches
Save your internet-radio searches under a name. They appear as sections of their own on the home screen and can be refreshed there at any time.
Not the same as favorites. A saved search remembers a search query and loads the stations again every time. A favorite remembers one piece of content you are listening to right now. Saved searches carry the bookmark, favorites the star.
What is a saved search?
A saved search is a search query you can run again at any time — for example “Jazz”, “Lo-Fi” or “News UK”.
The app remembers the query, the radio service used and the filters you set (country, language). Refreshing loads the stations again with exactly those settings — new matching stations appear automatically.
Save a search
- Open the Discover tab.
- Type your search term (e.g. “jazz”) and set country and language if you want.
- As soon as you have typed something, the bookmark appears on the right of the search bar. Tap it.
- Enter a unique name in the dialog (pre-filled with your search term).
- Tap Save — the bookmark fills in and the search appears straight away as its own section on your home screen.
Managing it on the home screen
- Refresh: Tap the refresh icon in the section header to load the stations again.
- Rename or delete: Tap the three-dot menu next to the refresh icon.
- Play a station: Tap a station card to play it on the selected speaker.
Renaming
- On the home screen, tap the three-dot menu in the saved search’s section.
- Choose Rename.
- Enter a new name and tap Save.
Every name has to be unique. If it is already taken, the Save button stays disabled and a note appears.
Removing
There are two ways:
- On the home screen: Three-dot menu → Delete → confirm.
- In the Discover tab: Type the same search term again, tap the filled bookmark and confirm.
Only the saved search is removed. The stations themselves stay on the internet and can be searched for again at any time.
When are the stations refreshed?
- Saving takes the current search results along with it.
- On app start, the stations last loaded appear from the local cache.
- The refresh button loads a fresh list whenever you want.
There is no automatic refresh in the background — you decide when a search runs again.
