Device Reset — Reset Your Speaker
Sometimes a speaker needs to be reset to factory settings, e.g. due to connection issues or before a network change.
When Is a Reset Needed?
- The speaker won't connect to WiFi
- After a router change
- Persistent connection issues
- Before setting up on a new network
SoundTouch 10, 20, 30
- Turn on the speaker.
- Press and hold the buttons 1 and Volume Minus simultaneously for about 10 seconds.
- The LED bar flashes orange.
- The speaker restarts and is reset to factory settings.
Bose Wave SoundTouch
- Turn on the device.
- Press and hold the Preset 1 button and the Volume Minus button simultaneously for 10 seconds.
- The display shows "Factory Reset".
- The device restarts.
After the Reset
- The speaker is in setup mode (LED flashes orange).
- You can now set it up again via the Bosman App (see WiFi Setup).
- All saved presets and settings are deleted.
